Pregnancy in women with kidney disease can be complex and high-risk, but clinical challenges may be modifiable with timely and thorough preconception counselling. This presentation will address key concepts for preconception counselling in women with early-stage CKD, glomerular diseases, advanced CKD and kidney transplants, with a particular focus on shared decision making and patient preferences.
